This Vintage release selects only the finest distillates of Single Pot Still & Single Malt Irish Whiskey, matured in exceptional American Oak casks. Non-chill filtered, this whiskey is a full-bodied, high strength, flavoursome whiskey, with just 3,000 bottles created. Bottled at an impressive 54.5% ABV. A bold and complex dram.

Writers’ Tears Double Oak is an exclusive Irish whiskey created using two woods and two styles of premium Irish whisey. A blend of Single Pot Still and Single Malt Irish whiskey, aged in two types of wood – American Oak Bourbon Barrels from Kentucky and French Oak Cognac Casks from the Cognac Region in France. It is triple-distilled, non-chill filtered and bottled at 46% ABV. This expression is made possible by a close collaboration between the Walsh family in Ireland’s County Carlow and the Legaret family in Cognac, France.

Produced from 100% French malted barley. Double distilled in the Charentais abysses of the Merlet distillery, then matured in association with new and old French oak barrels. The result is a delicious, round, fruity and floral whisky with spicy notes. "Coperies" means "harvest" in an ancient local French dialect.
