Cihuatan Xaman, hailing from El Paisnal, San Salvador, El Salvador, is a 16-year-old rum with 40% Alc./Vol., aged for 15 years in American Oak ex-Bourbon barrels, then finished in Mayan ceiba barrels for 1 year.

Legend has it that under the veil of night, the Sleeping Woman would look for the brightest star in the sky. This was Xaman,god of the North Star.

The terrior of ABK6 is a chalky hilltop at 154m of altitude. For this spirit 100% Ugni-blanc grapes were used. The vinification took place in thermoregulated vats. The distillation was a double distillation in small charentals pot-stills. This Cognac is aged in new and old French Limousin oak barrels of 350 liters.

The name “Cinabrio” was inspired by the color red, which was crafted by the ancient Maya using the mineral Cinabrio (cinnabar). Red was the symbol of Kinich Ahau, the Mayan god of the sun.
