St Etienne Single Cask 2006
A worthy heir to the great HSE vintages, this single cask 2006 has received the full attention of our cellar master in order to offer you a new balance between strength, roundness and aromatic complexity. Each batch bottled has been carefully selected from a single 400-litre French oak cask, identified by the double numbering of the bottles.
Tasting notes
Nose
The nose opens with an explosion of aromas, where empyreumatic notes of cocoa, coffee and light tobacco mingle with a fruity world of prunes, quinces and cooked fruit.
Mouth
On the palate, the wine is round and delicious, with a smooth, elegant attack before a long, fruity, delicately spicy finish.
