On the route to India, Mauritius has been growing sugar cane since the 17th century. Turquoise Bay is the jewel of this island renowned for its beauty and paradisiac climate.
Drawing from the wealth of Mauritius Rums, Turquoise Bay Amber Rum is a blend of old molasses Rums with a unique touch of pure sugar cane Rums. Finished in French and American oak barrels, it expresses the spirit and atmosphere of the pearl of the Indian Ocean.
TASTING NOTES
Gold with subtle hues of mahogany.
NOSE
Sugar cane, hot sugar and honey pastries, after opening additional notes of sweet wood and spices.
PALATE
Full and mellow with tastes of pastries and hues of Virginia tobacco and precious wood.
