This right here is a 15 year old single malt distilled by Laphroaig on Islay and bottled for The Stories of Wind & Wave series by The Character of Islay Whisky Company! The range shows off the deliciousness you'll find on the Inner Hebridean, this is a great example. A heavily peated single malt from the Bruichladdich Distillery, released under the Octomore name, bottled by The Character of Islay Whisky Company for The Stories of Wind & Wave series. The indie bottling range is all about showing off the brilliant whiskies from Islay, and this supremely smoky single malt is indeed fantastic. Interestingly, it was drawn from Chateau d'Yquem casks, introducing a touch of sweetness to the mix.
