Spicebox was inspired by a crafty Canadian, who would ship the contraband cargo in wooden barrels, black stamped with Spices. all was going according to plan, until a barrel took a spill, and their exporting days were over! The brand name itself communicates the flavor, and intrinsically links us to spiced whisky. The colours of the fonts, orange and brown, are related to the general perception of spice — the warmth conveyed through the various spice flavors. The branding and other fonts that are representative of the fonts of the products and printing of the 1920s, during Prohibition.
Compagnie des Indes Latino comes from a blend of rums essentially of "Spanish" type (60% comes from Guatemala) but not only, since a part of the rum which composes it comes from Guyana (English influence).The Spanish type brings the greediness while the English influence brings a touch of freshness. 5 years of aging in new barrels (bourbon) have allowed this rum to acquire its roundness and a rich palette of aromas. The rum was bottled without cold filtration.

The Nantou Distillery in central Taiwan is one of a number of distilleries owned by the state, but the only one making whisky. Wild Tiger Special Reserve is an exotic blend of Indian molasses rums, column distilled and aged in American oak barrels that have previously contained Bourbon. The fruit of this first stage is then blended with a cane juice rum - agricultural rum - obtained from a double distillation in a still.

This fresh, rose-petal gin was first made to honour our head distiller's mum, Rose, at his little brother's wedding. Rose had recently passed away, and this was his way to have her there in spirit - literally. Carefully-tended flowers, from her rose garden are slowly vapor distilled with wild roses and plants from the mountains around the distillery to make this an intensely floral gin. After distilling, the gin is then further infused with even more roses to deepen the flavours and give it its lovely pink hue. This is not "just another pink gin", far from it. The depth and complexity really needs to be tasted to be understood. Floral, fragrant and flavourful, it is some of the best, most interesting gin we've made and comes after a lot of experimenting with plants, fruit, spices...
