The Blue Gin is produced by Hans Reisetbauer who is one of the best distillers from all over Europe. The Blue Gin is produced from 27 botanical plants from 9 countries. The springwater used to produce this gin comes from Mühlviertler Almin Austria one of the purest waters on the planet.
With Reisetbauer’s Blue Gin, they made a great base but were in search of more. They wanted to create a Gin as counterpart to the classical Blue Gin that should contain less alcohol but should also have much more flavour. And this was when they came up with the idea of a sloeberry blue gin.
The gin is limited in stock because it is only produced in the summer time. The gin contains notes of juniper, coriander, citrus and, of course, sloeberries. We recommend you try this gin ice cold on a hot summer day, either on its own or with a tonic.
