1914 was founded by the Rum of Panama Corp. and is a homage to Panama and the interoceanic passage. The first edition is named Edicion Gatun. Gatun is the main lake along the channel and also the name of the dock at the Caribbean end of the channel. It’s a blend with up to 22 years of ageing and is not produced in the solera style. Because of the lightly higher alcoholic content of 41,3% for the usual Spanish style rum, Ron 1914 offers more character than comparable sipping rums from Central America.
Abelha Organic Cachaça is made with care – for the craft, for the cane, and for the community.Abelha Prata is a full-flavored artisanal cachaça, with an intense, fruity, aromatic nose; fresh sugar cane and stone fruits on the palate; and a smooth dry finish. To create the distinctive character of Abelha Prata, we rest the cachaça for 6 months in open steel tanks, allowing the by-products to evaporate and oxidize, which gives the cachaça its signature bouquet. No sugar is added, and there are no impurities or toxins in the cachaça, resulting in fresh aromas when you open a bottle and pure flavors when you take a sip.
The Rare Blend Guatemalan Oak is a blend of rums aged from 8 to 25 years. It has been dynamically aged in 5 oak barrels: Guatemalan oak and barrels that have contained American whiskey, recharged American whiskey, sherry and port. With a special finish in Guatemalan oak barrels.
