100% black cane, a variety exclusive to the Bologne distillery. This old variety, now forgotten by distillers because of its low yield, is favoured by Bologne for its exceptional aromatic potential. It expresses a "concentrate" of cane. Matured for 12 months in stainless steel vats.

This whisky was distilled on on 26th March 2010 and aged in a single ex-PX Sherry cask #804032 for 13 years.

688 bottles were produced for Belgium.

Rum Cañero Sauternes Cask Finish is double aged after the blend in white oak casks used to age sweet wine for the region of Sauternes, France. Aged for 8 years in ex-bourbon barrels gaining a sweet and creamy texture. The depth and complexity of this single malt Scotch is then complemented by no fewer than 3 additional months of extra maturation in custom made Oloroso sherry cask octaves.The hefty sherry cask-influence provides vibrant aromas and flavours, marks of its unsubdued character, ensuring a remarkable intricate experience of itensity and depth.
