A unique spirit that delights both gin and whiskey lovers alike, KOVAL Barreled Gin is crafted with the same prized recipe as the Dry Gin, but with a new level of citrus, spice and light butterscotch sweetness that come from its maturation in a KOVAL whiskey barrel. KOVAL Barreled Gin is crisp enough to be enjoyed straight, or as a new layer of depth in classic cocktails such as an Old Fashioned, Negroni or Gimlet.
KOVAL Dry Gin is made with a unique variety of woodland spices. Juniper and wildflowers envelop the nose, while the taste is dry—yet vibrant. The round, floral body is clean and nuanced by emerald grasses, golden citrus, and white pepper. This dry gin is crisp enough to enjoy straight and excellent in cocktails both classic and contemporary.
The terrior of ABK6 is a chalky hilltop at 154m of altitude. For this spirits 100% Ugni-blanc grapes are used. The vinification took place in thermoregulated vats. The distillation was a double distillation in small Charentals pot-stills. This Cognac is aged in new and old french Limousin oak barrels of 350-liters, with a finish in XO barrels.
At 40 years, the Armagnac’s style is definitely apparent. The quality of the oak used is very important, as the right use of a quality barrel will bring complexity and finesse to the Armagnac; elements that can be judged and appreciated after 40 years in contact with the wood.
This is a mezcal that features the first limited edition of a new product line of predominantly wild-grown agaves. The available agave quantities are quite limited, which can be explained by seasonal fluctuations and the local growers, who supply their wild agave to the distillery. Thus, this mezcal reveals itself with a clear colour, wood and citrus flavours, wrapped in touches of smoke, leather, and grass.
This richly crafted rum has been laid down in oak barrels for at least 21 years then artfully blended for you to savour and enjoy.
