Sequoia Whisky Single Malt Tourbé Bio

The Vercors Distillery is located in an old 16th century farm. It is the only French whisky distillery whose bottlings are certified in Organic Agriculture and distilled at low temperature.

The "Nautilus" wash still distills gently at only 50°C, instead of the usual 100°C. This sublimates the aromas of the malted barley and gives this Whisky elegant and subtle aromas, rich in seductive fruity and floral notes.

This whiksy is not cold filtered, which gives it a natural color. It is brewed, fermented, distilled, aged and bottled on site. It is made with malted barley from organic farming. Its particularity is that it is brewed with spring water from Vercors. Another specificity is that it is distilled at 50°C in a low pressure still designed by the distiller. It ages for three years in oak casks in the gentle atmosphere of an old Vercors silkworm farm.
