The Unique Assemblage is an exceptional anniversary cuvée that celebrates the rich history and tradition of Maison Darroze. This cuvée is a tribute to the various milestone years of the family house, bringing together Armagnacs from different eras to create a symphony of aromas and flavors. Each selected year contributes its own unique character, resulting in an Armagnac of unparalleled complexity and depth.
1974: Creation by Francis Darroze.
1982: Acquisition of Armagnacs from the Saint Aubin estate.
1985: Construction of the cellars in Roquefort.
1994: Arrival of Marc Darroze alongside his father.
2002: Construction of reception areas for spirit tourism.
2011: Construction and expansion of facilities and aging cellars in Labastide d’Armagnac.
1974 carafes were produced for the 50 countries in which Darroze Armagnacs are regularly distributed. The depth and complexity of the 50-year-old Armagnacs, complemented by the freshness and fruitiness of the younger ones, bring a unique balance to the cuvée. "The Unique Assemblage" is its name: a nod to the house's two flagship ranges, the "Unique Collection" and the "Grand Assemblages."
Asting Notes
Beautiful golden color with mahogany reflections. The nose is very expressive, offering both delicate aromas of candied fruit (apricot, orange zest), fine spices (vanilla, cinnamon, licorice), dried fruit (fig, almond), and lightly toasted bread. On the palate, the tannins are rich. We find the vigor of a young Armagnac and the wisdom of a 50-year-old eau-de-vie. Lots of spices, leather, candied orange.
An Armagnac of exquisite complexity and an endless finish.

This time, the brand takes us to Jamaica to discover a very old VSOP rum. This creation from the Worthy Park distillery was aged for 4 years in Bourbon casks before being transported to the Cognac region for an additional six months of maturation in the brand’s cellars in Chevanceaux. This cuvée has thus undergone double aging, first in a tropical climate and then in a continental one.

Nixta Licor de Elote is a Mexican corn liqueur made from a base of tender, ancestral cacahuazintle (kaka • wha • SINT • lay) maize, grown in the high valleys and foothills of the Nevado de Toluca volcano.
