Darroze Le Luxe Gascon 1929

Gascony, a territory located between the Atlantic, the Pyrenees and the Garonne, has always maintained a particular art of living. This art is based on a heritage of several centuries. ARMAGNAC is of course the perfect ambassador of this respected tradition. For more than 700 years, winegrowers, distillers, coopers, breeders and cellar masters have been giving Armagnac all its nobility.
Luxury in Gascony, and in Armagnac, is fueled by values rooted in sharing, transmission, respect for the artisanal product, high standards and excellence.
It is in this spirit that the DARROZE house sublimates its armagnacs from the most beautiful terroirs.

From generation to generation, old Armagnacs are preciously kept in the cellars, packaged in Dame-Jeannes (large glass bottles of 30 to 50 liters).
Wonderful Armagnacs, as rare as they are full of history. Marc Darroze, based on the values of authenticity and excellence, wanted to sublimate some of these hidden treasures in these limited series entitled Luxe Gascon.
Luxury in Gascony is represented by the ability of producers and breeders to preserve Armagnacs for decades. Finesse, authenticity, rarity, elegance are words that characterize these Armagnacs packaged in crystal decanters specially produced to sublimate these exceptional products.
Each batch is unique (only a few bottles), each decanter is numbered and accompanied by a certificate authenticating the origin and the respect of all the steps allowing to testify this so particular luxury.

|TASTING NOTES|

The 1929 vintage, Marc Darroze tells us, surprises by its freshness despite its great age. To the aromas of coffee, cocoa, honey and leather that can be found in an armagnac of this age are added notes of plums and figs, giving it a superb balance.
