Elaborated in the heart of Japan by the Kurayoshi distillery, The San-In is a blended whisky that embodies the elegance and subtlety typical of Japanese spirits. Aged in ex-bourbon casks for 3 years, it charms with its balance between freshness and fruity sweetness. Produced in the heart of Reunion Island, this traditional old rum is blended from a dozen oak casks of a dozen oak barrels from the Limousin and Allier regions. This union balance between the strength of cellar ageing and the explosion of noble aromas released released after 5 years in casks. The result is a rum with exotic notes, roundness and intoxicating length.

Inspired by the spectacularly rugged coastline on which our distillery sits on the Isle of Skye, we tame heavily peated grains to produce an elegantly rugged dram that balances strength with refinement to accentuate the floral, fragrant character of our whisky. Cnoc Na Mòine is aged in Bourbon, American Oak Oloroso, and Pedro Ximenez Casks. The sherry casks in this new release lend a sweeter, richer flavour and a darker colour The name Cnoc Na Mòine translates as ‘hill of peat’ and is geographically located in Knoydart, which can be seen across the Sound of Sleat from the distillery.
