Pampelle

Pampelle is a red grapefruit aperitif liqueur. After harvest, Corsican grapefruit is sent to winery in south-western France where the grapefruit is infused with botanical distillates such as Japanese yuzu, French cedrat, Haitian bitter orange bigarade, quinine, gentian bitter and grape eau-de-vie.

Color
Clear, bright scarlet red.

Nose
Zesty grapefruit, Tooty fruity candy, tropical fruit, orange squash and faint vanilla.

Palate
Bittersweet. Grapefruit flavoured boiled sweets (hard candy) with barky rooty bitterness.

Finish
Long bitter grapefruit finish with lingering rooty bitterness and very light black pepper bite.
