TASTING NOTES :
NOSE: The nose is marked by captivating notes of raisins and vanilla, opening up to nuances of cooked sugar and caramel. A dark and thick molasses unfolds, enriched by touches of black licorice and coffee grounds. Roasted and grilled nuts add extra depth.
PALATE : On the palate, the rum first reveals flavors of candied fruits and flambéed banana. Its smooth and sweet texture evolves into aromas of caramel, vanilla, and lightly cooked honey. Toasted notes blend with woody and moist impressions, almost evoking paper or wet cardboard. Light spices and a subtle cereal note remind of a soft bread.
FINISH : The finish is elegant and discreet, without heaviness, with a persistent smoky and grilled aspect. It is enhanced by spicy, fruity, and woody flavors, reminding that this rum is rooted in Indonesian traditions. .
