Hee Joy Spiced Rhum

The brand is carried by its founder, Jean-Marc Larhantec, who has worked hard to make it a reference in traditional blended rums. He selects with the greatest attention the best vintages elaborated by the distilleries of British Guyana (Guyana), Trinidad & Tobago and Jamaica.

Hee Joy Spiced Rum is first and foremost a blend of rums that come from three countries known for the quality of their traditional English rums: Jamaica for the power, Trinidad for the intensity, and Guyana for the complexity. Each of the rums is first aged for 2 to 3 years in its country of origin, in bourbon barrels (for the Jamaican rum), or in used or new American oak barrels.

The barrels are then shipped to France, in Grande Champagne, in the cellars of the company Hedonist Spirits. The rums are reduced, blended, mixed with natural spices and licorice, and matured in French oak barrels for an additional 3 months.


After an initial scent, the nose contains aromas of candied fruits, lemon zest and ginger. After aeration, the honeyed notes melt into those of licorice and bring a nice warmth.

Sugar cane and licorice share the tasting.

The final note is marked by the liquorice-ginger accord. This gives it a pleasant length.
