GlenAllachie 2009 Single Cask is from Grattomacco Tuscan Red cask number 5015, distilled on 16 October 2019 and bottled in September 2022, producing 318 bottles.

A 2015 addition to the Finlaggan range, named Eilean Mor (those of you that know about Islay's geography will be familiar with that name). Many years ago, they filled new make Finlaggan into Rioja Red Wine Hogsheads. Coming from the Rioja region within the Basque country of Spain, these Hogsheads have given the signature heavily peated Finlaggan an extra layer of rich mouth coating red berried fruit flavours. The result is a truly mouthwatering sweet and smoky dram to savour. The extrac-tion from the oak casks has given this whisky a beautifully rich natural coppery rose gold colour.

Matured in a unique combination of 1st fill Bourbon and 1st fill Sherry casks for notes of fresh apple, sweet floral grass and hints of chocolate. ‘Vinaya’, a Sanskrit word meaning respect and gratitude, pays homage to the original founders of the distillery who paved the way, as Bladnoch looks forward to an exciting new era of production and innovation.

A full-bodied whisky, matured in Oloroso casks, which gives it a warm and sweet sherry flavour.
