To craft The GlenAllachie Wine Cask Series, Master Blender Billy Walker first expertly matured our spirit in the finest American oak ex-Bourbon barrels, before transferring the whisky into hand-selected European wine barriques for secondary aging. Billy added a distinctive twist to this release by ultimately blending four exceptional wine cask finishes into one unique expression: The Cuvée Wine Cask Finish. The next release of GlenAllachie's Cuvée, bottled in 2023, is a harmonious marriage of whisky matured in barriques which previously held premium red wine. Colour
Rose Gold.
Nose
Bursting with pastel fruits, heather honey and dried red berries, with hints of ginger, caramelised biscuit and soft spice.
Mouth
Layers of orchard fruits, orange zest and honeycomb, followed by notes of plum syrup, figs and glazed cherries, with a touch of cinnamon, ginger and red berries on the finish.

Matured in a unique combination of 1st fill Bourbon and 1st fill Sherry casks for notes of fresh apple, sweet floral grass and hints of chocolate. ‘Vinaya’, a Sanskrit word meaning respect and gratitude, pays homage to the original founders of the distillery who paved the way, as Bladnoch looks forward to an exciting new era of production and innovation.
