TASTING NOTES:
NOSE: An enticing invitation with aromas of ripe apples and pears, enriched by notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, milk chocolate, and a subtle hint of nuts. The bouquet is complex, integrating touches of honey, citrus peels, vanilla, and caramel, accompanied by sweet spices and dried fruits.
PALATE: An explosion of fruity and spicy flavors with distinct notes of green apple, freshly cut grass, lemon, and orange zest. The complexity intensifies with rich flavors of hazelnut, malt, and subtle nuances of cocoa and sherry wood. The perfect balance between fruits, spices, and a slight hint of bitterness creates a harmonious tasting experience.
FINISH: Long, smooth, and pleasantly oily, leaving lingering notes of cereals, nuts, cocoa, and fruits, bringing lasting satisfaction.

The apples are mixed, crushed and pressed. The apple juice is fermented right out to give cider to be distilled. Double distillation is carried out 6 months after the fermentation has taken place. The first distillation gives the "petite eau" at 30% by volume and it is the second distillation, that of the "petite eau" which gives the Calvados.Aging: Six years minimum. In toasted 400 L oak barrels, 25% of which are new.
The rum is aged using the solera process for aging spirits, in which barrels containing older spirits are “topped off” and married with younger spirit from other barrels as the angel’s share takes its toll. Afterwards the rums blended are aged again in Single Malt Scotch Whisky oak barrels for at least 6 months. By the time, the rum is bottled.
Nordés is produced slowly and with great care. A careful selection of the best neutral alcohols, together with the use of white Albariño Galician grapes, are the indispensable base of our gin, giving Nordés its unmistakable fresh and soft character. The distilling process is enhanced with the maceration of 11 botanical elements.

Brazil is very famous for being one of the largest producers of cacao and coffee in the world. It was natural for us to associate these notes with our Gran Chaco Brazil Rum. The design of the bottle was inspired by Brazilian wildlife: the patterns represent some of Brazil's most emblematic animals. The color green was chosen to represent the country and suggest the natural habitat of its wildlife.
