The Penderyn distillery produces award-winning single malt whiskies and spirits at the foot of the magnificent Brecon Beacons in South Wales. Madeira Penderyn is aged in old bourbon casks and then in old Madeira wine casks to give it all its character.

The Tomatin 18 Year Old is a truly world class malt.
Matured in traditional oak casks and first fill Oloroso Sherry butts, honey and soft oak flavours develop into a hint of dark chocolate with a citrusbite before a sustained sweet and slightly dry finish.

Creation #6 can be described in two words: RUM + RAISIN. Our sixth Creation marries Pedro Ximénez casks and Jamaican rum casks with our smoky spirit resulting in flavours of toasted Jamaica ginger cake, Bonfire Toffee, spiced plum jam, Amaretto cherries and Daim bar.

TASTING NOTEColour: Golden with amber and slightly reddish highlights. Beautiful clarity and lustre. On the nose: powerful and complex, marked by a delicate woody note with a pastry-like nuance of caramelised vanilla and desiccated coconut (typical of American oak). Pronounced, fresh floral nuances. Slight notes of dried tobacco, followed by balsamic notes punctuated by coffee and chocolate accents. Base notes of spices (floral pepper, cinnamon), dried flowers and a hint of saffron. On the palate: The rum’s attack is supple, with a delicate, elegant tannic structure. The tannins are well blended and the texture is silky. Our malt is crafted slowly and is matured at the distillery in traditional dunnage warehouses on earthen floors. We're proud of our heritage and have used traditional methods since we rolled our first barrels back in 1790. And yet we're not afraid to tinker with tradition if it serves to improve our product. Our single malt is the perfect mix of nature and nurture and we believe in quality above all else.
