Savanna Métis

In times gone by, all rum bound for Europe spent many months in oak kegs, so the only rums our forebears knew were mature rums. The result is a very refined but well-rounded, refreshing, floral rum, harking back to the liquors of yesteryear.

Tasting notes

Colour
Straw yellow with touches of gold

Nose
Tropical fruit, with hints of vanilla. It gradually expresses more vegetal notes.

Mouth
Smooth and creamy in the attack, it develops cocoa and spice aromas, before revealing notes of dried flower and peppermint.

Finish
Citrus and candied tropical fruit. It continues with fresh, rich notes of lemon and aniseed.

Tasting advice
In cocktails such as a piña colada, cuba libre, mojito, etc.
