Sampan Cellar Series Ex Cognac Cask
An exceptional rum from the Distillerie d'Indochine in Quang Nam, Vietnam, boasting a 45% ABV. Reduced with osmosed water to preserve authenticity, it undergoes a 96-hour fermentation in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks and column still distillation. Tropical aging occurs for 36 months in 350-liter 1st refill Cognac casks with medium toast. Limited to 2000 bottles.
Tasting notes
Nose
Sweet Tropical woody nose with hints of honey and vanilla.
Palate
Clean and pastry attack followed by spices. Extremely long in mouth with a sweet finish.
