Tasting notes

Colour
Golden, with thick, fast legs.

Nose
The nose opens on aromas of sweet pastry with warm raisin brioche. Pleasant prune and vanilla notes quickly appear, then orange blossom and tart apple bring a livelier, more floral touch. Once allowed to breathe, the alcohol is stronger and the 57 can be smelt a waxy woodiness appears more clearly. Pineapple and cream can be detected, adding to the rich sweetness. The nose has character if given time to open up

Palate
The attack is mild, there is a viscous texture that swiftly leads to honey and notes of wax At mid palate we find sweet pastries, with cooked pineapple complemented by citrus peel The vanilla feels drier on the palate, as if we had a whole pod in the mouth Some nice dry apricot rounds off the dried fruits of the nose.

Finish
Smoky, with notes of roasting and tobacco. Lingering leather and spices (cinnamon and allspice) leave a very pleasant sensation of sweetness.
