Baie Des Trésors Fleurs Du Vent 49.8%

2021 was a particularly dry year in Martinique, with plots on the Caravelle peninsula even drier than usual. Having little water, the sugar cane produced especially fine rums, making 2021 a truly historic vintage. This climatic anomaly produces rums of great finesse.

TASTING NOTE
To the eye: pale gold colour, clear and lustrous. On the nose: Expressive with fresh, vegetal notes (dried cane, wild herbs), very slightly woody and resinous, punctuated by hints of vanilla. This is followed by toasted, roasted notes (hazelnuts, almonds) and floral, spicy accents. A great floral rum with complex, taut tones. In the mouth: The rum is light on the attack but over time a sublime array of aromas that contrast with its apparent austerity. It is surprisingly rich and complex with a stunning floral bouquet combined with citrus notes. Finish: taut and long, with beautiful notes of dried fruit (almonds, dates, hazelnuts). This is a rum for connoisseurs.
