Dalmunach is one of Scotland's newest distilleries, located on the site of the former Imperial distillery in Carron. This bottling is one of the first releases of new whisky from the distillery, and has been initially matured in a 1st fill ex-bourbon American Standard Barrel for slightly over 4 years and then further matured in a 2nd fill ex-oloroso sherry 50L Octave cask for a further 7 months.

Fresh, apple crumble, custard, icing sugar, toasted almonds.
After
Sherry, raspberry ripple ice cream, toffee, popcorn, baked douh, hint of spice.

The Matsui Sakura Single Cask
Japanese single malt whisky matured in a single Sakura cask, known for its quality. Combined with a malt aroma and the bitter taste of an unblended whisky, delicately soft and crisp notes of cherry also come through across the palate. The whisky is matured in Tottori prefecture, in a natural environment where the temperature changes considerably from one season to the next. The whisky is subtly finished with high-quality natural spring water from Mount Daisen.
