Pleasantly spirited, with fresh flavours putting a new spin on traditional molasses-based rums.
Tasting Note
Colour
Colourless
Nose
Smooth. The first nose is fruity, verging on pineapple and banana, and spicy, with a touch of mustard seed. Tropical fruits predominate, including custard apple. After letting it breathe, a second, fruitier nose envelops everything. It gives way to green olive, vegetal notes of grassy sugar cane and medicinal hints.
Mouth
Fresh, lively and sweet. The green olive taste of Savanna’s traditional Grand Arôme Blanc can no longer be discerned. Candied papaya and pineapple dominate. Spicy notes of nutmeg and pepper, confirmed by vegetal freshness, lend a pleasant character to this tasting rum.
Finish
This rum breaks all the rules. The finish returns to saltiness, reminiscent of the Indian Ocean that dances outside Distillerie de Savanna. Tropical fruit aromas make this a smooth, unctuous rum. These flavour sensations never stop developing during tasting and even continue afterwards. An endless explosion of sweet, fresh aromas!

Darroze Domaine de Monturon 1987 - 40.5 %
For years, Mr. Bachala was a lion tamer in the Zavatta circus before turning his hand to armagnac production in the late ‘70s. The humid conditions in his ageing cellars have contributed to the fact that his armagnacs have a lower alcohol level.
GlenAllachie 12Y Moscatel Wood Finish
This deliciously fruity whisky enjoyed initial maturation in premium American oak ex-Bourbon barrels for over 8 years. Adding further complexity, the spirit was then transferred into specially elected Moscatel casks for a finishing period of over 42 months. A particularly aromatic dessert wine produced in Portugal, these Moscatel barriques offer up floral aromas, coupled with a silky-smooth mouthfeel. Delivering distinctive notes of tart fruit and rich toffee, this bronzed malt is one to be savoured.
