Kiyomi means 'pure beauty' in Japanese. This rum was carefully crafted in Nago City, Okinawa by the Helios distillery, producing rum since 1961, following the request of the American army present at that time in Okinawa.
This rum is a distillate of local sugarcane molasses fermented for 3 weeks, then distilled in a copper pot still. The sugar cane benefits from a mineral-rich soil and a tropical climate, which brings minerality and salinity to this rum.
A white rum has an unparalleled aromatic explosion due to the long fermentation of its cane molasses, reminiscent of truffle notes before oxidation.
