Here is a new vintage of the Cihuatan brand, this young brand that has brought El Salvador into the very select circle of rum regions! Its name: Indigo. A color that enters the composition of the famous "Mayan blue", a beautiful color found in the frescoes of the temples buried in the jungle. The brand Cihuatan pays tribute to the Mayan culture, which is an integral part of the history of El Salvador. Its iconography can be found on the labels that adorn the bottles, such as this one. This cuvée, aged in American oak barrels containing Bourbon, is a blend of different vintages aged at least 8 years. Authenticity is privileged: no additives have been used to modify the overall result.
AnCnoc 24 Years Old has been bottled in its most natural form - neither filtered nor colored, which can create a slight haze with water or if it has been stored at a cold temperature. This mist is a natural characteristic of unfiltered cold whisky.
Hand-craffed using the finest Kentucky and Indiana corn, selected rye and superior malted barley, it is aged in new oak barrels for at least 8 years; small batches are then selected from the premier ageing slots for each production.

The potatoes were harvested when they were still young, producing a sweeter tasting profile with delicate earthy notes. The spirit was then left undisturbed in fifty-year-old Polish oak barrels for two years to allow time for it to rest and mellow before being bottled, by hand. All the potatoes used in Family Reserve are naturally-grown without chemicals or pesticides on the Chopin distillery estate grounds.
